On January 23, 2017, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative final determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of imports of truck and bus tires from the People’s Republic of China (China).

The ITC is scheduled to make its final injury determinations on March 6, 2017.

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on polyester staple fiber from Korea and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. 

As a result of the Commission’s affirmative determination, the existing antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from Korea and Taiwan will remain in place.

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on Glycine from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. 

As a result of the Commission’s affirmative determination, the existing antidumping duty order on imports of this product from China will remain in place.

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of large residential washers from China that the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value. 

As a result of the USITC’s affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue an antidumping duty order on imports of these products from China.

On January 10, 2017, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative final determination in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of imports of ammonium sulfate from the People’s Republic of China (China).

The ITC is scheduled to make its final injury determination in this investigation on February 23, 2017.
